Maddison James Associates were appointed as a Conservation Advisor by Richmondshire District Council, Hambleton District Council, Harrogate Borough Council, Barnsley Metropolitan Council, Craven Borough Council and East Riding Council to assist in delivering their Heritage Partnership Scheme. This role involved working in Bedale, Richmond, Skipton, Boroughbridge, Knaresborough , Pennistone, Malton and Norton to undertake the following:

> Conservation Area Appraisals

> Identifying target buildings for grant funding

> Preparing fact sheets for the targeted buildings

> Preparing Town Centre’s Design Guides

> Sitting on the panel to determine the suitability of schemes proposed by applicants
