Building Surveying

The works managed by Maddison James Associates Ltd were for the removal of an unsightly 1960’s garage extension to the rear of the Grade I listed Hall and the construction of a new build extension, following consultation with and approval of the scheme by English Heritage. The building was constructed using traditional materials including hand made clay tiles and hand made bricks bedded in lime mortar. The building is now used by Surestart.

North Stainley Village Hall

North Stainley Village Hall Maddison James Associates secured grants in excess of £150,000 to fit out this new village hall. Grants were awarded for :-

> IT Facilities
> Furniture
> Lighting and Sound Equipment
> Building works
> Kitchen equipment
> Fixtures and fittings to the Changing Rooms

The village hall also included 4 first floor flats which are managed by Maddison James Associates.
