The works were for the removal of an unsightly 1960’s garage extension to the rear of the Grade I listed Hall and the construction of a new build extension, following consultation with and approval of the scheme by English Heritage. The building was constructed using traditional materials including hand made clay tiles and hand made bricks bedded in lime mortar.
